I finally am getting around to posting pictures of the dresses that I’ve created. It’s McCalls 6612. Hopefully, the next picture, will actually show me wearing them.
While it might not look like they’re fitted they really are. The above, is the first one that I actually wore.
However, this is the one I actually started sewing first, but did not complete until last weekend. I only needed to add the hem to the sleeves and hem. This is my favorite and it’s what I wore to church this past Sunday.
Take a look inside my closet. Please excuse the floor, I am still cleaning, it should be finished by today. I can’t remember if I mentioned that I gave away a lot of my garments to Purple Heart. I hadn’t made most of the ones I donated.
It’s looking lonely in there, right? There are only three outfits in that closet, but they were all made by me! I’m really thrilled that I came up with this idea, since seeing an almost bare closet really forces me to start working myself back into the sewing equation.
Of course, I’m wearing more than these three outfits; however, they are mainly pants and a few skirts all garments that I don’t like too much.
What will I sew next?
I’m actually thinking about making my own version of the Vogue pattern that I’m showing below.
Isn’t it gorgeous? I’d make the tea length version. Although with the chilly temperatures we’ve been having, sleeveless outfits aren’t high on my priority list.
They look pretty! And very comfortable too. I love knit dresses!

Pretty but comfortable is high on my priority list. Last evening/this morning, I could not sleep so I made the cowl neck top. I pressed and washed and am wearing it today. I hope to get a chance to post pictures of my cowl neck shirt sometime this weekend.
