Another Thanksgiving has arrived (a first for this site) and I have more reason than ever to be thankful.
In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
I Thessalonians 5:18
New American Standard Bible
Today has been a super duper lazy day for my daughter and myself. Besides pulling out a half finished knitting project, gazing wistfully at my loom, cooking a Thanksgiving meal for my daughter and myself, I have done absolutely nothing but rest! You know… sometimes our bodies need that.
Black Friday Deals – One Day Early
Early this morning I did go online and fill in a few sewing accessories gaps. Much to my delight, some of the items on my Wish List were discounted because of Black Friday. A few moments ago, I hopped online and it looks like I’ll be receiving the bulk of my items on Saturday. I’m an Amazon Prime member.
Early Shopping on Black Friday
Tomorrow will be the first year that I am planning to go shopping at an actual brick and mortar store on Black Friday. Early tomorrow, my daughter and I will be going to Jo Ann Fabrics to select a suitable pattern for a dress she wants to make. She has an upcoming dance next week. Tomorrow, JoAnn’s will be open at 6:00 a.m.
Accessories Update
Once my sewing accessories arrive, I’ll be sure to post a picture of my “sewing accessories haul,” and give reasons why I purchased each one. I’m trying out a new to me product, a fabric folding pen. I did order three more of the Clover Chaco Liner.
I must say, that I like it more than my Chakoner that you see above. I’m really loving the Clover Chaco liner pencil. My only regret is that I haven’t purchased it sooner.
