..and still more knitted washcloths

Whew… my posts have been sporadic and lately they’ve been all about knitting. Sighs, I look fondly at my sewing machines and beadwork; however, at the moment, I simply do not have the time.

But knitting is different… it’s portable and can accompany me almost anywhere. This past weekend, we were visiting the BF’s parents in Bridgeville, Delaware. During our down time I was able to complete one more knitted washcloth, which is not shown here.

I love hand knit washcloths and so does my BF.

The above washcloths were gifted to the BF last week. Yesterday, he finally got around to sending me the pictures he’d taken. In the above photo, the accompanying text was… “To my heart of hearts!” Later, when chatting with him on the phone, he asked me what I thought about his “heart display.” I had no idea what he was referring to until he explained he tried to arrange the knitted washcloths in a heart pattern. I went back, and saw the heart formation. How sweet was that.

Neatly stacked handknit washcloths…

These washcloths are still made using 100% cotton; however, I used a different brand that seems softer. This morning, my BF finally got around to trying one of the new washcloths and told me they are amazing! It looks like we have a keeper. I’ll make a few more knitted washcloth sets for his home and then I’ll focus on another project.
